UST is fifth best-performing school in September 2025 librarian boards

The University snagged the fifth spot in the Top 10 schools in the September 2025 Librarian Licensure Examinations (LLE), announced by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) on Monday, Sept. 8.

UST garnered an 85.71-percent passing rate, with 18 out of 21 examinees passing the exam, an improvement compared to the September 2024 passing rate of 69.57 percent.

PRC recognized La Salle University Ozamiz, Philippine Normal University, and University of the Philippines - Diliman as the top-performing schools, with a score of 100 percent.

Patricia Victa of the University of the Philippines - Diliman led the new batch of librarians with a score of 91.50.

The LLE was administered by the PRC on Sept. 4 and 5 in testing centers across the National Capital Region, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Koronadal, Legazpi, Lucena, Pagadian, Rosales, Tacloban, and Tuguegarao.
