Ben&Ben and BINI will return to the University of Santo Tomas to headline the Paskuhan Concert on Friday, Dec. 19, the UST Central Student Council and Student Organizations Coordinating Council (SOCC) revealed.
In a livestream on Dec. 17, the SOCC announced that Rob Deniel, Amiel Sol, and Zack Tabudlo will also top-bill the University’s annual Christmas festivities.
Folk-pop group Ben & Ben, known for their hit songs “Kathang Isip,” “Sa Susunod na Habang Buhay,” and “Pagtingin,” will take the Paskuhan stage for the third time after Paskuhan performances in 2017 and 2019. Their song, “Bibingka,” is a crowd favorite during the Christmas season.
Meanwhile, the nation’s girl group, BINI, will return to the stage after headlining the Paskuhan concert in 2023. Since then, they have amassed millions of followers worldwide with chart-toppers “Salamin, Salamin,” “Lagi,” and “Pantropiko.”
Soloists Rob Deniel, Amiel Sol, and Zack Tabudlo will join the lineup to serenade the University with their hit love songs. All three acts will debut at Paskuhan this year.
Popular songs from Rob Deniel include “Miss Miss,” “Romcom,” and “Sinta.” The soloist also garnered online attention with his cover of “Nandito Ako” by Ogie Alcasid. While this is his first time performing at Paskuhan, he was among the artists who took the stage in the opening ceremonies of UAAP Season 88 earlier this year.
Amiel Sol rose to popularity with his songs “Sa Bawat Sandali,” “Ikaw Lang Patutunguhan,” and “Nahanap Kita.”
Zack Tabudlo is known for his hit songs “Pano,” “Gusto,” and "Nangangamba.”
Thomasian acts Golf & Sunsets, CSIG, and Opmium are also included in the lineup following their victories in Tunog Tomasino, an annual Thomasian battle of the bands.
The Paskuhan concert will start at 3 p.m. and is expected to run until 9 p.m., with pre-concert activities starting at 10 a.m.
