The University of Santo Tomas (UST) placed second in the top-performing schools in the January 2026 Architect Licensure Exam, announced by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) on Tuesday, Jan. 27.
UST recorded a passing rate of 97.33, with 73 out of 75 examinees passed.
Three Thomasians got into the Top 10 with Jannah Marie Castillo and Benjamin Arnold Santiago securing the sixth spot with a rating of 87.80 percent, while Lira Monica Macula placed ninth with 87.50 percent.
Bicol University-Legazpi clinched first in the top-performing schools with a passing rate of 98.63.
PRC announced 1,998 out of 2,434 passed the examination, with one examinee’s results withheld pending case review.
The examination was administered on Jan. 20 and 22 in testing centers in NCR, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legazpi, Lucena, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao, and Zamboanga. - Eisley Ivy Gaile Lagunias
